AI integrated into clinical workflows German Innovation Award — Gold Recognition of system-level innovation
Empowering healthcare and veterinary providers worldwide with AI-powered
diagnostics and integrated clinical systems.
Founded in 2014 in a Silicon Valley laboratory and grown globally with operations in Frankfurt, Germany, Ozelle develops AI- and IoT-powered diagnostic systems that transform complex biological data into actionable clinical insight. Our solutions are designed for scalable, real-world diagnostics—supporting laboratories, clinics, and distributed care settings across global medical and veterinary markets.
Ozelle’s AI models are trained and refined on billions of cellular data points generated from real clinical workflows—not simulated datasets. This scale enables robustness across species, sample quality variations, and real-world clinical complexity.
By integrating AI with Complete Blood Morphology (CBM), Ozelle delivers more than numerical results. Visual, morphology-based evidence enables clinicians to directly observe abnormal cells, recognize pathological patterns, and make diagnostic decisions with greater confidence.
Ozelle’s intelligence is embedded directly into daily diagnostic workflows—through maintenance-free systems, AI-assisted reports, and an integrated diagnostic workbench—supporting faster, more confident decisions without adding operational burden.
To make intelligent diagnostics work reliably in the real world. By transforming complex laboratory workflows into integrated, AI-powered systems built on Complete Blood Morphology, Ozelle enables expert-level analysis to be accessible, scalable, and trusted — across everyday clinical settings in human and veterinary care worldwide.
"Over the past decade, we have pursued one vision: to redefine diagnostics, making healthcare more precise, more accessible, and future-ready."Read the Chairman's Letter

Our history traces back to 2014, when a research team composed of postdoctoral fellows and scientists from multiple prestigious universities and institutions in the United States, including two postdoctoral fellows from the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, a postdoctoral fellow from the California Department of Public Health, a professor from McMaster University, as well as Dr. Joshua Robinson and Academician Hongjie Dai from the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, was established in Joinn Innovation Park, located in the heart of Silicon Valley, California, USA. In November of same year, we had research cooperation with Nirmidas and StartX (Stanford's Accelerator) on Personal and Portable Health Diagnostic Testing. In the following year, our first colloidal analyzer passed the test from DCN, the authorized device test organization in the US.
Our research and development continued in the next few years with encouraging results by steady progress. In 2016, we developed colloidal gold test strip product antibodies in collaboration with ProMab and 2 patents obtained in the same year. In the next 3 years, we updated the version each year from Colloidal analyzer 2.0 version, Second Generation of colloidal analyzer: EHB-2.3 to version EHB3.0-EBH3.1.
When the COVID pandemic prevailed in 2020, our core team decided to move back to Germany. The R&D continued until our first hematology analyzer based on cell morphology technology came alive in 2021. Our brand story started by then...
