Seit Jahrzehnten st\u00fctzt sich die Erkennung abnormaler Zellen auf das geschulte Auge erfahrener Spezialisten. Die mikroskopische Untersuchung liefert zwar tiefgreifende diagnostische Erkenntnisse, l\u00e4sst sich jedoch naturgem\u00e4\u00df nur schwer standardisieren und auf moderne Gesundheitssysteme ausweiten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Gesundheitslandschaft befindet sich heute im Wandel. Die Diagnostik ist nicht mehr auf zentralisierte Labore beschr\u00e4nkt. In Krankenh\u00e4usern, Kliniken und dezentralen Versorgungsnetzwerken entwickeln sich diagnostische Untersuchungen zunehmend zu einer h\u00e4ufig genutzten klinischen Infrastruktur, die die t\u00e4glichen medizinischen Entscheidungen unterst\u00fctzt. In diesem Umfeld m\u00fcssen Diagnosesysteme in unterschiedlichen klinischen Umgebungen, bei unterschiedlicher Erfahrung der Anwender und unter realen Arbeitsbelastungen zuverl\u00e4ssig funktionieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Genauigkeit allein reicht nicht mehr aus. Diagnosetechnologien m\u00fcssen dar\u00fcber hinaus Konsistenz, Betriebsstabilit\u00e4t und Skalierbarkeit \u00fcber gesamte Gesundheitsnetzwerke hinweg gew\u00e4hrleisten. Dieser Wandel definiert neu, was Diagnosetechnologie leisten muss. Gleichzeitig vollzieht sich ein weiterer Wandel: die Weiterentwicklung der k\u00fcnstlichen Intelligenz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-built-alongside-the-evolution-of-artificial-intelligence\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Entstanden im Zuge der Entwicklung der k\u00fcnstlichen Intelligenz<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ozellemed.com\/de\/about-us\/\">Ozelle <\/a>wurde 2014 in einem Labor im Silicon Valley w\u00e4hrend der ersten Welle des Deep Learning gegr\u00fcndet. Von Anfang an konzentrierte sich Ozelle darauf, maschinelle Intelligenz auf eine der komplexesten Herausforderungen in der Labordiagnostik anzuwenden \u2013 die Analyse der Zellmorphologie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zwischen 2014 und 2019 leistete Ozelle Pionierarbeit bei der Integration von Deep Learning und hochaufl\u00f6sender Zellbildgebung und erzielte dabei erste Durchbr\u00fcche bei der automatisierten Morphologieerkennung. Diese Arbeit brachte ein interdisziplin\u00e4res Team zusammen, das die Bereiche Strukturbiologie, Bildwissenschaft und Computer Vision umfasste. Zu den wichtigsten Mitwirkenden geh\u00f6rten Dr. John Wu, dessen Fachwissen im Bereich der computergest\u00fctzten Strukturbiologie dazu beitrug, komplexe biologische Strukturen und zellul\u00e4re Muster in maschinell interpretierbare Darstellungen zu \u00fcbersetzen, sowie Dr. G. Cong, Erfinder mehrerer US-Patente im Bereich der zellul\u00e4ren Bildanalyse, dessen Arbeit die algorithmischen Grundlagen f\u00fcr die automatisierte Zellklassifizierung vorantrieb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als sich die k\u00fcnstliche Intelligenz in Richtung der \u00c4ra der Foundation-Modelle und des Transferlernens weiterentwickelte, weitete Ozelle seine Forschung \u00fcber die Algorithmenentwicklung hinaus auf praktische diagnostische Anwendungen aus. Ab 2020 entwickelte das Team unter der technischen Leitung von Jie Du \u2013 dessen Arbeit eine Br\u00fccke zwischen intelligenter Hardware, maschinellem Sehen und Sensorsystemen schl\u00e4gt \u2013 \u201eAI \u00d7 Complete Blood Morphology\u201c (<a href=\"https:\/\/ozellemed.com\/de\/die-logik-hinter-der-innovation-wie-ozelle-die-diagnostik-mit-ai-cbm-umgestaltet\/\">KI \u00d7 CBM)<\/a>, ein Rahmenkonzept, das darauf abzielt, die Morphologieanalyse \u00fcber verschiedene Ger\u00e4te, Umgebungen und klinische Anwender hinweg zu standardisieren. Dieser Ansatz erm\u00f6glicht eine konsistente, hochpr\u00e4zise Morphologieauswertung, die in realen klinischen Umgebungen validiert wurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In den letzten zehn Jahren ist Ozelle mit den aufeinanderfolgenden Entwicklungswellen im Bereich der k\u00fcnstlichen Intelligenz gewachsen und hat Fortschritte in der maschinellen Wahrnehmung in praktische Diagnosef\u00e4higkeiten umgesetzt. Heute ist Ozelle weltweit t\u00e4tig und unterh\u00e4lt einen Standort in Frankfurt am Main, wo fortschrittliche Bildgebung, maschinelle Intelligenz und die Entwicklung von Diagnosesystemen zusammengef\u00fchrt werden. Ozelle begegnet dieser Herausforderung durch den Einsatz von KI in Verbindung mit CBM. CBM gew\u00e4hrleistet, dass die Zellmorphologie \u00fcber alle Proben und Ger\u00e4te hinweg mit gleichbleibender Bildqualit\u00e4t erfasst wird. Die KI analysiert anschlie\u00dfend diese morphologischen Merkmale, um standardisierte Auswertungen der Zellmuster zu erstellen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gemeinsam verwandeln KI und CBM die Morphologieanalyse von einer individuellen Expertenkompetenz in eine einheitliche Diagnosem\u00f6glichkeit, die labor-, klinik- und gesundheitsnetzwerk\u00fcbergreifend eingesetzt werden kann. Dieser Wandel markiert den Beginn der vierten Generation der h\u00e4matologischen Analyse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diagnose als ganzheitliches System<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reale klinische Umgebungen entsprechen selten den kontrollierten Bedingungen im Labor. Die Arbeitsbelastung schwankt, die Bediener verf\u00fcgen \u00fcber unterschiedliche Erfahrung, und eine fachliche Begutachtung steht m\u00f6glicherweise nicht immer sofort zur Verf\u00fcgung. Da diagnostische Untersuchungen zunehmend auch au\u00dferhalb spezialisierter Labore durchgef\u00fchrt werden, m\u00fcssen \u00c4rzte immer gr\u00f6\u00dfere Mengen an Diagnosedaten auswerten, w\u00e4hrend der Zugang zu Morphologie-Experten nach wie vor begrenzt ist. Seltene oder atypische Zellmuster treten in der Routinepraxis m\u00f6glicherweise nur gelegentlich auf, was eine einheitliche Erkennung in verschiedenen klinischen Umgebungen erschwert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die AI Workbench begegnet dieser Herausforderung, indem sie intelligente Analysen direkt in den diagnostischen Arbeitsablauf integriert. Das System ersetzt nicht die klinische Expertise, sondern hilft dabei, atypische Muster aufzudecken, das Risiko \u00fcbersehener Befunde zu verringern und eine einheitlichere diagnostische Beurteilung zu gew\u00e4hrleisten.
